Lack of transportation is an issue for many. Did you not have insurance to rent one? I have a friend, paraplegic in a Long-Term Care home, who reminds me to be grateful for much every day.
I have been complaining about this, too. Central Ontario is left out of the picture, despite the tourists lining our highways and biways. As if we don't matter. With only a weekly newspaper, we are hard-pressed for news.
Gravenhurst was ravaged and received little attention. I remarked on the poor coverage of several areas - including my own - on another video. Television media are
cutting field production to a minimum and this is the result.
I don't live there, and wasn't there at the time. I think it a moot point. A tree the diameter of these trees, on your roof, is an horrific event! It was a shame that the news didn't appear to cover anything in Gravenhurst.
