The Sleepy members left on their own terms: They were a young teenage band to start out with (Luke formed it when he was 19) and were high and drunk all the time. Luke learned its a dangerous and very bad lifestyle. If you inbox me I'll send you a link that explains it more.

@RisingSun051 He changed, and since he was the songwriter, it was portrayed in his music. Everyone else was still into drugs and alcohol. They didn't like the music, so they left! They barely contributed to the music themselves.

Two incarnations later, the band is now Malcolm Clark and Luke Steele. New album coming soon. They posted "baking some fresh new tunes" on their myspace/facebook.

And I'm sure it will be delicious.
