jesse can sing better, but usher had songs that attract the younger crowd i believe they are both different jessie to me is more classic soul r&b singer and usher is more pop/club r&b singer, they are both my favorite singers, but you cant really compare them

Too bad this guy didn't get enough fame or promotion. He is such an amazing singer. Totally underrated. He is capable of so much more than what his producers give him as singing material. Granted I love most of what I've seen and heard from him but damn he is like Tevin Campbell. At least Tevin Campbell became a household name in the early and mid 90s. No love for Jesse by the people. Sok tho cuz all of us who post here and me especially got nothing but love and respect. He rocks!

I have to say this "Usher" should not be where he is he isn't anywhere near as talented as Jesse is Jesse has a great family and his sisters are in that old group Something For The People I don't know where they went wrong with this young fine man this song is a classic I have read that it's because he's gay but who cares listen to that voice LIVE its like WOW!

cmon on now usher is a complete artist true jessie has a higher vocal range but to use a football term here Jessie was a qb who could only throw well usher is like a balanced qb. Not only does he have good not great vocals but anyone can stand in one place and do a performance (not discrediting his vocal talent) but imagine having to sing and perform a 50 step dance routine with 7 other people .

Ok this is only my opinion but I have a lot of respect for singers but Usher to me is on another level. WHEN he wants to just focus on singing he can do that but being able to put on a total show is alot different . If it was easy all artist would do but it's not so alot just stand around with a mic .
