I hate how people stereotype online dating, it has caused fears in many lives where there was potential to meet someone fantastic, but it so happens destiny or fate met u online. I met my guy online, and not even met, we have sent eachother *western unions*, expensive gifts, and not forgetting paying fone bills for long distance! I hope people realise, wat others experience, is not necessarily wat u will! Its all upon a luck, fate and a lil common sense. Not everyone online is fake or scammers

I love it how the victims in these stories are always women. I have had just about every girl I have met online try to scam me. You talk for a bit and then "Oh crap, I lost my job and can't make my rent." "I my car broke down and will lose my job if i don't get it fixed." "My kid got hurt." Why do we never hear of these stories on here?

YES you have to be careful with any PAID online communication with foreign women. About 75% of all that, including live chat is bogus. The girl in the photo is not the person answering your e-mail, but someone trying to get your money.
However there are millions of "good" girls in these countries.
