Why did technology explode in state societies and was more or less stagnant in your 'stateless' societies? I know...do you?

the population explosion was due to the industrial revelution the speed of growth was fuelled by states and there trading companies imperial greed this rapid growth has impovrised most of the world wreaked the enviroment and created an overpopulation problem. you know?

i don't think there are really answers to those type of questions. that would be determined via competition between ratings agencies, and would depend upon the choices of consumers.
