Great Videos! At 3:05 I believe you meant to shade the medial half as you stated, but you shaded the medial half of the lateral aspect of the arm being that it's the anterior view.
Dear hyperhights... I´m trying to make a video like yours, but in Spanish for medical students. I ask for your permit, to make a pretty similar video, even the music, but just in Spanish... and of course make the reference where the first video came... Is just for the glad to teach, and pay a little of what i´ve receive... Thank you and I´ll wait for your answer. God bless you.
10 years ago I had a brachial plexus injury traffic accident analysis of electromyography k says I have moderate injury in the total radial and ulnar and median, I am a father of famial of scarce economic resources with a child if any doctor could help him eternally grateful because from that day to this day I keep feeling pain in the palm of my right hand which was the accidente.vivo in Ica Peru, or any assistance from any ONG.o the address of someone who can help me. thanks.
wow, really, really good!!! I have my oral exam on monday and I'm very glad that I can repeat all this stuff by the help of your videos.... your pics are fantastic, the stuff is well structured and you explain it in a calm voice, so that everybody can follow, thanks a lot!!!
the posterior divisions of the trunks (forming radial and axillary nerve) supply posterior(extensor) compartments of upper limb. Anterior divisions of trunks innrevate anterior(flexor) comparmtents.
This may sound like a very dumb question... but why is the axillary nerve not originated from all C5-8 and T1, it looks like the axillary and radial nerves receive the origin from all of them.
because whether or not a root contributes to a particular nerve is determined experimentally; it is NOT possible to reliably deduce root contributions by looking at the pic of the brachial plexus;
that said, I will tell you which nerves do follow the "pattern" (i.e. you can look at branching to determine which roots contribute): dorsalscapular n., suprascapular n., subclavius n., lateral pectoral n., musculocutaneous n., medial pectoral n., medial antebrachial cut. n., ulnar n.
my dads got a bracial plexus injury, they're really trying to help him by transferring a nerve from his chest to his arm. we now have to give it 15 months to see if it has worked. he has absolutely no feeling in his arm at all, he has been told he will never be able to feel his hand again. he did this injury in a very serious motorbike accident. this video has helped me tbh. thank you
hey thanks so much for your help mate, i took neuro in the 1st semester and pretty much relied on you! then this semester taking functional anatomy and again you are a help, cheers!
thank you for the videos. i'm taking anatomy now, and doing some dissection on one of our cadavers. (not right now, of course) you should be a teacher, although i assume you're thinking of med school, or something like that..

I love anatomy, unfortunately not much time spent on it in nursing school (strange I know) but I really enjoyed my anatomy coloring book.
Very intereresting channel, thanks for posting!

You are correct.. C5-C8 and T1. But different people tell you different things..
Sometimes C4 and T2 are invested into the brachial plexus.

Was sure that the median nerve also gives sensory fibers to the dorsum/posterior of the distal halves of the first 3 and 1/2 digits ???

Yeah it does..he just forgot (?) to mention it here..but he showed it in part 3..
