Great laugh! Gasol gets the rebound faster than light (0:46) after real funny block! After dunking every player do exactly the same "dance"! Crowd is "great", half in yellow jersey, half in purple jerseys and just very few of them in clothes (Jack Nicholson??). Gasol is in Eurobasket 09, so Kobe goes through his ghost (1:32). And Kobe must be damn strong (1:38) because he is pushing Carter like VC`s wearing rollerskates. And did anyone missed a shot??

I enjoy both games to a degree but you're right. The players often don't touch the rim when they dunk on 2K. Along with that, during dribble animations, the ball sometimes literally goes through the dribblers leg or hits the ground going in one direction but magically zooms back into the player's hand going in another so that the move will be completed. Sometimes, joints even dislocate and spin around in place. There are A LOT of strange glitches in 2K. No question about that.

You're clearly a fan-boy......I'm sorry to say it, but it's true. Jack Nicholson has never been in an NBA videogame. Players do the same animations after moves on 2K as well. Ever noticed the dip and hand slap move between teammates after a foul? It doesn't matter whether you're Lebron or Yao Ming, you're going to show teammates love in the same way. Rebounding is frustrating and unrealistic in 2K. Last year, teams (cpu controlled) could get 10 plus blocks/game if you didn't turn it down......

That Jack Nicholson question was joke, cuz he`s always there when lakers play and I know he`s not in the game. I don`t play Live, but 2k have sliders to tweak the game the way you want. It takes some time, but adjusting sliders can make the game very realistic. Default sliders (95% of 2K players use it, without any attempt to change it) are just crap, adjusted for cheesers and beginners.

NBA 2K series will always have better graphics than NBA LIVE. It's the little things that make 2K better than LIVE such as the hoop and net charcteristics looks mad real. A swish looks nicer in 2K. The players, body wise, looks life-like. Also in 2K changes up their commentary. LIVE has the same commentary for the past three years, same catch phrases, lol. I'll give LIVE one thing, they always have the sickest layups and dunks. I've been playing LIVE since 1995 with the 360-720 layups, lol.

yes, you definitely can. after you choose the team and jersey, there will be a list of 4 options: tip-off, starting lineups, player lock, and GAME SETTINGS. in game settings, you can adjust the difficulty (rookie, pro, all-star, or superstar) as well as sliders for everything that was offered in live 09.
