  • Very helpful. Thanks!

  • How many people are watching this from a broken screen haha

  • Great Vid! I was impatient and broke the light that lights up the bottom dock buttons and I used a ghetto way to adhesive it down since I didnt prepare before hand but it works! And like new! Thanks for the great video!

  • I just wanna say this was the best video ever. I had a cracked digitizer for well over 6 months and i was afraid of doing it myself by reading mixed reviews saying that it was tough to do by your self. But I feel like this step by step video was really nice and I appreciate that it got posted. Phones looks a lot better!!!!!

  • thanks man i literally just ordered the new screen for my phone and will be watching this multiple times to fix my thunderbolt

  • Yeah....Im just not going to do anymore damage and get a new phone

  • when i take of my screen cover the screen glass falls off

  • I broke my Thunderbolt screen. This guy is great!! I followed the simple instructions, paused and then caught up. I view 5 other repair videos and this is the best. He assist in putting the phone back together. Phone works great.

  • Where can you buy a replacement touch screen?

  • Let me just say this is going to suck dick to replace... I can't wait..

  • I've reviewed your website and I am planning on sending in my HTC Thunderbolt to you for repairs on my HTC Thunderbolt because the screen is cracked. I just wanted to check of this was legit. Has anyone sent in their phones to iRepairNational?

  • Mostly I am all thumbs, but around and hour I completed installing the new screen and when I turned it on it worked. The digitizer did not work at first so I restarted it and it now works great. I use a LCD/digitize set. Good decision on my part I think.

  • I did everything on the video but ended up with a black screen. The phone turns on and makes sounds but cannot see. I installed an lcd/digitizer set so both were new.

  • The led lighting is built into the phone. All the tape does is transfer the light to the faceplate menu strip. It is really a bizarre way to do it but it works. Other HTC phones use small glue on triangles of plastic. I call it genius but most would call it cheap and cheesy.

  • Okay so the "tape" is merely a lighting strip. The faulty digitizer I got from an eBay store was to blame. In order to install the new screen with it perfectly you have to order the lcd/digitizer separately (get new adhesive) and rob from the old screen. Use of a heat gun is basically mandatory with these screens. That or just play safe and buy the combo and live without lit menu buttons. Sometimes sacrificing quality for aesthetics is'nt worth the risk. Get a dead one to practice on if needed.

  • @chrisjsanford So if i buy the LCD digitizer assembly it wont have the light for the bottom four buttons? my digitizer is cracked but I was just going to buy the combo to make it easier.

  • screen replacement

  • How can I fix iPod 4g mic pleas help me!!!! ;(

  • Wish I had seen this entire video earlier. The clear "light" transducer sticker cable at the base of the LCD is a pain to get swapped correctly, and when I assembled a recent Thunderbolt without it the Menu buttons failed to work. At close inspection there seems to be a very good chance that without it the menu, home, back and search buttons will fail to operate correctly. For those about to attempt this repair, make sure that you retrieve the old one and adhere it to the new assembly.

  • very helpful. THNX
