Utterly brilliant. I can't fathom how humourless crap like The Hangover was a critical and commercial success but this classic was deemed a failure by critics, public and creators.

The lines that Holmes uses to the Nuns, about Theives being responsible and the picture kit, comes from an earlier sketch from Beyond the Fringe.
