I ported this to the Playstation and it was not easy. The arcade version had a steering wheel, so the controls had to be completely rewritten to work with a digital gamepad. This ended being a major problem and as a result we had to settle on the unspeakable, we made the controls work differently on tracks that had super sharp turns. During the end of development, a representative from Konami would sit right next to me and watch me work, without ever saying a word. It was weird.
