This story it true up to a point. If we are going to continue the 'coffee' analogy then we have to consider the experience of drinking coffee. People definitely have favourite cups, I know I do and I know many people who do, so it is reasonable to believe that the 'cup' is an important part of the experience for most people.' Live simply' does not have to mean live poorly. We should always 'seek the best in life' as this is what we deserve. To do less would be an insult to your god.

I have two favorite cups, one is a tall slim bone chine cup with roses on it, the other is a short fat dumpy builders mug that has a slight chip in it, either or suffices. Most people are obsessed with form, the outer packaging, we need to strip away the physical layers and get to the really important stuff. Wonderful and inspiring clip.
