I just saw the Iron Man 2 trailer. And it totally ass raped Avatar in the visual effects department. So we now know that the visual effects didn't live up. And the story sounds (Like a reviewer said on IGN) "Its Dances with wolves in space".........I'll wait for it on DVD. Plus. This sounds fishy. I can't take anybodies word over the internet. They can be part of the PR department working for FOX trying to amp the movie over youtube.

I dont think its going to be bad. But this is not a review. This sounds like a bunch of people hyping it. So thats already hurting its chances. I miss film reviewers like Siskel and Ebert. They would intentionally split their opinions. It was the only way to accurately convey a proper recombination. How the chick says, " the dialogue was weak. Just action." She is selling the movie to action buffs. Trying to get a summer audience in mass on december. Wake up. Dont get played...dork

Actually, intentionally splitting your vote would be a mark of awful critique. So, yes, maybe Siskel and Ebert did that. They were the men that gave two thumbs down to Last Crusade and, years later (though Siskel was dead) Ebert and his new cohort gave Crystal Skull two thumbs up. Your comments are bizarre and hard to argue because your conclusions are based on nonsense. No one is hyping the movie, no one is pretending to dislike one part to hype another.

Of course there is going to be a great story in this film, with great dialog, and one liners like ill be back, Get away from her you bitch, and hasta lavista baby.

Its James Cameron dont expect anything less.

Some of the dialog in Titanic was abysmal

But I saw a few clips on RT, and the dialogue is kind of typically serviceable for a Cameron film. Straightforward and clean cut

And for something this balls-to-the-wall epic and visually crazy, that might be a blessing

It looks crap. The trailer looks utter crap. For ages now this film has been hyped as a future benchmark in cinema entertainment and you guys just WANT to like it, mainly because its a James Cameron flick, can't you see hes just as fanatical about CGI effects as George Lucas? I dont like the look of the aliens in this movie at all it looks like a Shrek flick done in blue.

What's so bad about CGI effects?

I mean, really. What's so different about the people who say that the film is going to suck than the people who say that the film is going to rock even before the movie comes out? And besides, the edge that these folks have over you is that they actually watched the 16 minute preview in 3-D.

And so what if the CGI looks amazing. I like that the guy in the video said at 2:15. The flow of the storytelling was amazing, and it was contributed by the visuals.

James Cameron's movies like Terminator, Aliens and the Abyss all had a touch of class and good character performances other than the effects, action and drama. Something that George Lucas abandoned around 1999.

I'd like to see James Cameron do a cop thriller, id bet he could be just as good as Michael Mann.
