He is amazing and his voice are beautiful in this song<3 I love his voice, and wish he did a more subtle and emotional song like this for his last last chance performance. I'd love to see more of this side of him, because its just so amazing. I might be Team Damian, but I can admit that Alex has some incredible and serious talent. Bravo, Alex, bravo.

The 'problem' with a show like this is that it becomes a popularity contest instead of a talent contest. Started watching clips today and according to some really devoted fans Damien should win. Well sorry, but that boy has serious limited reach. Cute face. Yes. Cute accent. Yes. Versatile talent. No. He can't even hit a note over a low E. I wonder if Ryan realises that with him winning he'll only be able to sing Louis Armstrong LOL. This guy has talent. I don't care that he might be an ass.

This song has personal meaning to me as well, It was also sang at a funeral that I attended and I cried then and I cried more now. His voice is beautiful, so soulful and strong, but also gentle and caressing. Anyone who can move a person by song is a great singer in my eyes, regardless if he wins (which I think he should) or not he's got a new fan. Alex should have gone home instead of McKynleigh in week 4 or even Matheus in week 5, but the weeks don't carry over. Alex gave by far the best performance in week 6 and he was better than Damian in week 7, Damian agrees with that.

This is a beautiful rendition, not over the top, heartfelt, and soulful. And it obviously came from a place of love for his father. This is a fantastic last chance performance.
As much as I dislike Alex, this was beautiful, he does have a really good voice and I think that we all need to see past his outer image and take his voice and personality into consideration

You can't deny Alex is so talented! His voice is probably the best of the final 4. However I just don't know what character he could play on Glee while the other finalist are talented as well and bring something unique and different.

I thought it was interesting that Ryan pointed out that he could be Mercedes' and Kurt's "lovechild" type of character, but really, why morph the two when they're both amazing characters? Correct me if my assumptions are wrong, but what I got from this is "people aren't entitled to their artistic opinions." Disliking a video does not necessarily equate to hatred for its subject. Maybe they gave it a thumbs down because they genuinely just didn't enjoy this particular performance. Remember, the entire show's premise is largely based on JUDGING their singing ability/professionalism/what have you.
@orewagundam yes, but lets look at Friday by Rebecca Black, this poor innocent thirteen year old girl had all those comments telling her she should kill herself.. she should be dead.. stuff like that, because she had a song that was maybe not the best. The dislike bar can be good for people who use it well, but some just use it to crush people. Thats why we comment. If you have some constructive critisism thats one thing, but to tell a person they suck and should kill themselves, thats another.

Alex is the most talented one left on this show.. Lindsay did terrific on 'Defying Gravity'... Samuel overall has an amazing personality.. Damian is charming. But I don't think he should win. He's just girl's dreams.

I dont get the Alex hate!? I mean Lindsy is meaner than him! Hes just larger than life and diva-ish! I find him intetesting and captivating when he performs and that voice gives me chills!! I can't believe some people, coming onto this video just to say "fuck you. GO *insert contender here*!!!" How is that okay? I don't care if you don't like someone- they all did fantastic last chance performances! Don't be asses about someone who's singing a song that was done at his father's funeral. This is a beautiful rendition, not over the top, heartfelt, and soulful. And it obviously came from a place of love for his father. This is a fantastic last chance performance.

You can't deny Alex is so talented! His voice is probably the best of the final 4. However I just don't know what character he could play on Glee while the other finalist are talented as well and bring something unique and different.

I thought it was interesting that Ryan pointed out that he could be Mercedes' and Kurt's "lovechild" type of character, but really, why morph the two when they're both amazing characters? We really don't need another Mercedes, OR another Kurt. Alex is extremely talented, I just don't think he can bring something new and original to the show.

Why are there just as much dislikes as likes pretty much? This was an AMAZING performance, why is it okay to even dislike a video, to judge a human being on something they were brave enough to do? SO wrong, i dont wonder why suicide is the number 2 cause of death for teenagers. I wish people would stop with all the hate, we are teaching the generation below us that it is okay to be down on people, JUST because of something they said, or they're not as socially excepted. Im truly ashamed.

@JordannWoOoO As much as I enjoyed Alex's performance, this comment is frustrating me. Correct me if my assumptions are wrong, but what I got from this is "people aren't entitled to their artistic opinions." Disliking a video does not necessarily equate to hatred for its subject. Maybe they gave it a thumbs down because they genuinely just didn't enjoy this particular performance. Remember, the entire show's premise is largely based on JUDGING their singing ability/professionalism/what have you.

@orewagundam yes, but lets look at Friday by Rebecca Black, this poor innocent thirteen year old girl had all those comments telling her she should kill herself.. she should be dead.. stuff like that, because she had a song that was maybe not the best. The dislike bar can be good for people who use it well, but some just use it to crush people. Thats why we comment. If you have some constructive critisism thats one thing, but to tell a person they suck and should kill themselves, thats another.

Yes the show is bsed on judging talent but many fans overlook that for their bias and dislike others who they think thereaten their bias chance of winning, in this case it would be Alex.

I don't think Damian is the strongest competitor, but i could see him having a role. I think Alex will make it on glee though, no matter what. He is truly talented, and Ryan Murphy seems to love him.
