Epic win :) They still have a lot of ground to cover in the halo universe and CE's remake is going to have several terminals filled with BRAND NEW canon tied in with the new trilogy.

Bungie doesn't have the rights to make any more Halo games at this time. Microsoft and Bungie no longer have a partnership agreement and Microsoft owns the rights to Halo.

343 industries is a branch of Microsoft game studios dedicated exclusively to continuing the continuity of Halo. It's headed by Frank O'connor, the Franchise Development Director of the Halo Franchise and is employed several previous Bungie employees to continue working on future tittles.

@Masterlink981 Yes, we know that NOW. That comment was almost a year old. That was the rumor at the time. Now we know it uses the Saber engine for the graphics and its the original Halo engine for the gameplay.

I started playing Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, Halo Reach, now that a remake of Halo 1 will come out... It's a dream come true. Anything I should know before playing Halo 1????

@Masterlink981 Hmm, if your biased towards the Halo 3 style gameplay you probably won't like it a whole lot, or you may like it better. It is the original 10 year old engine so it may feel clunky to you.
