@splendiferosity I've never seen his work, but I'm sure I wouldn't get it. Nevertheless, it's irrelevant, since my comment was directed at the fact that the title of THIS VIDEO used to be "Steven Wilson - Harmony Korine HD", implying from the "HD" and the thumbnail image that it was a live performance. I got all excited because it's the greatest song ever and I've never heard it live, and then all my hopes and dreams were shattered. Of course the title's changed now so I just sound like a dick.
@piemaster21 Oh gosh. That is *incredibly* disappointing! :( Where are you from? I know SW is coming back around in the summer. I saw him in NY and they performed the song, so if he stops near you you'll be able to. It's amazing live. It has this energy that the album version just doesn't. I blew my mind.
@splendiferosity I know right :(. Though I can't complain about PT. They came through Melbourne, Australia in 2010 and played The Incident all the way through. And that was just the first half of the concert! Ridiculously good. No HK, but plenty of great older songs in the second half (Anesthetize, Russia On Ice, and obviously Trains). Sigh. I love them all. Hope the come back soon and bust out some Remainder The Black Dog.
@piemaster21 I've unfortunately only see PT once for their Radio City "rarities" show. It was spectacular. I want to see them in a more intimate setting though. I can't remember if he played Remainder The Black Dog, but I don't think he did :c I can try to remember the line up if you want. I'm jealous though! That's like when I saw Opeth and the played ALL of Blackwater Park plus one song from every album. Amazingg.
@splendiferosity RTBD is off Steve's new album. I reckon you'd remember if you heard it ;). This show was actually pretty intimate; the venue can only fit like 1,800 people, and we were down on the floor about 10m away. Got to see Gavin so clearly <3. Anesthetize blew everyone away (just the middle section).
They're just the best. I've been meaning to listen to some Opeth for a while, but haven't got round to it yet. Wilson fan fail.
@piemaster21 I know it is, I'm just horrible at remembering certain things. I have terrible memory sometimes :/ Of the whole Radio City set I only clearly remember Bonnie the Cat and Dislocated Day. But they played a TON more. I was pretty close during Steven's show, but I'm short so I couldn't see too well. I saw Nick Beggs fairly well and Steven when he didn't go too far tot he left XD
They seem to only play the middle section live :C But I love it still.
@splendiferosity Hmm Bass Communion is usually the project the most fans have an issue with. I dont I own Molotov and Haze and think its pretty damn good.
@PennyDreadful1 I loooooove Bass Communion. Very chill and relaxing, but dark. I love stuff like that. The one I dislike the most is probably No-Man, I'm not a big fan of the other guy. Blackfield is alright sometimes but I'm picky. And I haven't listened to much IEM but I'll get too it eventually lol
@uchihaitachi888 Used to be "HD" instead of "HQ", suggesting it was live footage. It was not. I was sad. Fortunately the uploader caved to bilateral international diplomatic pressure and renamed it.
Great song, wonderful harmonies, and I like the picture!
