But please! justice to Fauré? The intonation between cello and violin it's a catastrophe... and the pianist didn't read so many right note! It's for me a very bad interpratation dear Mikeygo901
I'll consider you're point might have come about due to the low quality of this video. However, regarding these "catastrophic" intonation, I think you are referring to the intended dissonances which Fauré masterfully placed into this piece. As the pianist, I only know of 2 areas where I had fumbled, so please, I don't think you have any foundation as to what you are trying to say. Besides that, I wonder if YOU could show me YOUR interpretation of this piece; that I would like to hear.
I'm afraid Oddsequence but, the "low quality of the video" isn't a good excuse... I know very well Fauré dissonances! The dissonances aren't mistakes or problems of intonation!!!
I'm sorry if my message is hard and not so sweet but, if you put a video in utube you must accept not only the compliments...
Anyway, you're right if you ask me MY interpretation. I'll play the trio for my examens this year (on june) and i will send you as soon as i can! Regards aelf29
This so beautiful! Faure is so under-appreciated... you did him justice. To think he was deaf when he wrote this! I love how it's a combination of serene simplicity and incredibly advanced harmony. Not great quality, but a very musical performance. Excellent!

Yes, Fauré is certainly under-appreciated. But who knew such a harmony of dissonances could pass off as a musical performance!
Thanks again!
