@JAVIRED8 ¡Hola! bueno mientras estás aplicando los 3 pasos del método del video, en particular el paso número 2, seguramente es más cómodo ver secciones de la película aisladas. Pero una vez llegues al paso número 3, lo mejor es entrar sin interrupciones al mundo de la película para que empieces a desarrollar tu habilidad de entender en inglés a la velocidad del pensamiento.

Se puede aprender ingles mirando una película, o escuchando música, sin necesidad de saber que están diciendo y sin necesidad de traducir, es el error que cometen todos los que enseñan ingles traducen todoooooooo. Aprendí ingles sin traducir nada, como cuando uno aprende el idioma natal desde niño a uno nadie le hace ninguna traducción de lo que aprende.

@Gohanjm18 De hecho, recomiendo más series de TV que ver películas para aprender inglés. Te puedes acostumbar a los personajes más (las frases que dicen, las voces, etc.) y duran menos tiempo. Good luck!

Y bueno, ya que entramos en confianza, verás, yo en películas recomendaría iniciar con documentales como Disney Nature, NatGeo, etc., o también con programas para parvulitos como Pocoyó, Pistas de Blue. La pronunciación en estos videos parece ideal para uno de principiante. A diferencia de las películas comerciales y caricaturas que tienen un acento un tanto 'acelerado'.

In any case, I think you should give some suggestions, e.g. to choose movies with lots of dialogs, instead of e.g. action movies. And also...movies have lots of slang and are not suitable for begginers. How can we digest that? Sorry but for me, there many options more enjoyable out there.

@selvaingles I would recommend a better way in learning like I do is put up the subtitles in the language that you are learning as well as the audio.This way if the actors are talking fast you can still catch that word.That is how I started learning Spanish and 2 years later I am almost like you!

Lo que dice el video es muy cierto, yo aplico eso cada día. pero creo que es necesario una guía con ciertos parámetros que te ayuden a poder mejorar. A mi en particular, me ha ayudado mucho un curso que encontré en internet, el cual se centraba al 100% en el inglés conversacional y no en el escrito. Si les interesa les dejo el sitio: AceleradorAutoIngles.commm lo que no conseguí en un año con clases privadas, con este sitio lo hice en dos meses.

@Carpinther1 If you don't understand when people speak then you MUST listen more. Your mind needs time to understand the words spoken, not just written. If movies are too difficult to understand, you should try short cartoons. You can even watch cartoons for children. I recommend Pocoyo and Caillou for beginners and Regular Show for intermediate learners. Good luck!

1 - I have no water. (el verbo aqui es TENER)

2 - I have not eaten. (el verbo aqui es HABER)

So, don't confuse TENER with HABER both of which are HAVE in English. =)
