Good run on the first stage, mostly...

One thing I can suggest is: You can use larger ships to clear enemy fire away when pulling them with the anchor. The captive ship can only take so many hits, but still more than you can.

Learn how to score high! Collecting a high amont of medallions (the gold things) is required for some of the aceivements - You need 3,000 by the end of Stage 1 to get "Faintear: Stage 1".

I really enjoyed this game :) Though 2 of the 12 achivements caused some problems Such as the Hard 1CC ;) But overall Completing normal without dieing really caused me some problems!!! Awesome game though :)

This is a great game I got it with my dreamcast with some other burned games a lot of them shooters and this is actually my favorite of the shooters I got.

there is a lot of moaning about no xboxlive multiplayer, but in reality even a millisecond of lag would cause an annoying death and fist through tv scenario.this along with the much harder ikaruga are my favourite 2d shooters.great games and a genre that should not be forgotton in an age of lady wii games

Agreed. I have lost that fear of "maybe I will never be good enough at this game to finish it". You can muddle through most games these days, so there is no real sense of accomplishment. Multiplayer becomes popular because there is actually a skill test to be found there.

Loved Ikaruga, too hard never finished it.
