  • Around 4:30 into this video I became afraid. Justice Breyer says we are in a "Democracy". Does he not know this is a Republic? This is how one of the greatest men in America decieves YOU. We are not in a democracy. United States citizens are in a democracy. State citizens also known as Sovereigns are in the Republic of the united States of America. Notice the capitalization. In the Republic 48 Sovereign States are united. Each operating as a Sovereign Country. The United States of America is...

  • ... a corporation. Your rights are not protected under the corporation. this was decided in US vs. Valentine 288 F. Supp. 957 it was decided that: “The only absolute and unqualified right of a United States citizen is to residence within the territorial boundaries of the United States.” In the Republic your rights are not protected by the constitution. The constitution defines what the government can do. The constitution does not protect your rights. As a Sovereign you have inalienable rights.

  • Thank you for posting this, YaleLawSchool.

  • A little excessively flattering on the intro by Prof Gerwirtz but I like Breyer's simple, clear, and precise explanation of the Supreme Court's function.
