People think what Salvation shows is what the dark future war scenes are, and complain that those are not like them. But Salvation takes place in 2018, what is shown in this movie and T2 takes place in the years 2029 and 2030. Would think it would be obvious because

1. Reese is a teenager, whereas what T1 shows he is an adult fighting.

2. The resistance doesn't have acess to plasma tech yet.
