I understand how oversaturated the World War II gaming market has been, and most triple-A developers have strayed to the "modern warfare" concept. But I wish somebody would make one last, really cool, final WWII game with awesome graphics, balanced [multiplayer] weapons, a progression system and all that. Epic campaign with varied gameplay (paratroopers, fighter pilots, D-Day soldiers, everything) as well as co-op and everything. It would be awesome.

I'm pretty sure you know some of these games, but I will write all the ones I recommend: Soldier of Fortune, Kingpin: Life of Crime (this one is really great), Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Sin, Half-Life (a masterpiece!)... I'm sure you know Quake 2, which is also a great game.

All in all, if you don't mind dated graphics (I don't), give them a try. You'll enjoy it!
