  • @MooseBaker

Its an honest to god GM-350 V8 from 1976, Thanks for watching!

  • @VICNASTY1989 Your right, I was confused. I was backwards.

  • @MooseBaker

No Problem... To be honest when I first uploaded the video I called it a 351 (which was a Ford motor) and I was quickly corrected. -Thanks for watching

  • @VICNASTY1989 WOW! We're dealing with the 1974 version, but pretty much exactly the same. We're having major issues getting her started...done pretty much everything. Getting a new battery today...wondering if we just get one for a Chevy 350 V8, or is something bigger cuz it's an RV??

  • @missbirdygirl

Well this 1976 350 always has problems starting when it sits for awhile, its all to do with the choke and the battery charge. I do believe the engine starter battery is larger because there are more components to handle, especially if you have the optional A/C. This RV actually has two batteries, one for the generator and accessories, and one for the motor. Just remember to specify a Chevy 350 Truck battery, there are usually books there to help. Thanks for watching!

  • It appears you follow the "Lynol-method" of pumping rhythm on the gas pedal to start your engine! Was that a backfire at 1:20? Poor engine!

  • @JSneaker

What is the "Lynol-method"? This motor is really beat, I made this video in July, the motor is practically impossible to start in the winter. As for the backfiring, it does that a lot, your just driving down the road and "BANG," it also coughs (which is when it just shoots out a random grey-blue cloud out the exhaust unexpectedly). Its has a few issues to say the least. LOL!
