No Problem... To be honest when I first uploaded the video I called it a 351 (which was a Ford motor) and I was quickly corrected. -Thanks for watching
@VICNASTY1989 WOW! We're dealing with the 1974 version, but pretty much exactly the same. We're having major issues getting her started...done pretty much everything. Getting a new battery today...wondering if we just get one for a Chevy 350 V8, or is something bigger cuz it's an RV??
Well this 1976 350 always has problems starting when it sits for awhile, its all to do with the choke and the battery charge. I do believe the engine starter battery is larger because there are more components to handle, especially if you have the optional A/C. This RV actually has two batteries, one for the generator and accessories, and one for the motor. Just remember to specify a Chevy 350 Truck battery, there are usually books there to help. Thanks for watching!
What is the "Lynol-method"? This motor is really beat, I made this video in July, the motor is practically impossible to start in the winter. As for the backfiring, it does that a lot, your just driving down the road and "BANG," it also coughs (which is when it just shoots out a random grey-blue cloud out the exhaust unexpectedly). Its has a few issues to say the least. LOL!

It appears you follow the "Lynol-method" of pumping rhythm on the gas pedal to start your engine! Was that a backfire at 1:20? Poor engine!
