  • I wish I could get my left hand up to that tech. fantastic improv...very french classical :)

  • i dont know if you do this only in this video, but you use a lot of licks, that present the same image, or similar copies of an image. This is good from the start of the song, but you can try forming a melody later on, starting with fractions, the building it, reavealing it. Then you have a couple of choices. Either change the chords and shift the melody or deveop it further. just remember: PLAY WHAT YOU HEAR!

btw it is very good what you do

  • Some postings are very eloquent, I concur - beautiful, emotional and demanding.

    Thank you.

  • @truenicola Glad you hear it as that, I was wanting it to sound impressionistic like :) I am actually thinking of making sheet music after the summer. I will let you know more as it goes :)

  • Amazing! I wish I could play even half as good as you do! haha

  • @lotsolove160 Thank you :)

  • Not everyone will be able to achieve improvisation skills like this guy, but what I find helps is just keep learning new songs, and keep improvising/messing around on the piano.

    Good video!

  • Fantastic !!----musical improv has been associated with jazz though Bach Mozart and Beethoven where known as great musical improvisors ---this guy sounds like he's possessed by the spirit of Debussy ---but I LIKE IT !!

  • @CCMusicianPerformer Thank you very much! I appreciate your wonderful support!

  • i do improv myself, but not nearly as close as how good you can do it! lately i have been writing a song and it is nearly complete. you should write your creations down if you haven't already (my teacher always says: write it down before you forget!)

  • @hbmp88 Thank you! Please let me know when your song is complete, and I will make certain to listen to it :) I haven't had the chance to write it down yet, but I will certainly take you suggestion and write them down sometime soon! I just uploaded another improv if you are interested :)

  • This is amazing! How did you learn to improv?

  • @KLSL071805 Thank you! More will be coming in a few weeks :) My parents encouraged me to make stuff up at the piano when I was young. And during the past few years my interest in improvising has resurfaced. The more I did it the more I grew accustomed to improvising on the spot :)

  • Musica universalis! This is truly the music of the spheres

  • @AprylZA I'm am extremely touched by your compliment! Thank you so much, I am truly glad that you enjoyed my improvising :)
