The Mavs commentator said Dirk has the best fadeaway jumper in LEAGUE HISTORY. He probably forgot about Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Kobe Bryant and of course, Michael Jordan.

so you're saying a fadeaway is only for the littler guys ? Well , Kobe is 6'6 and he's better than 95% of big men in the post. Just cause Dirk is 7 feet tall doesn't mean it's the best fadeaway. I'm not hating on Dirk, he's a top 5 player in the league. But to say he has the best is ludicrous. MJ's fadeaway was the sweetest and Kobe takes and makes the most difficult fadeaways. D

The way Dirk's fadeaway is though is signature. Everyone has a different style and Dirk's is the most unique because it is the most different. It looks weird when anyone else does it his way because it is meant for those who are extremely tall. But in Dirk's circumstances he is one of the best to ever do it because almost half the time that's how he gets his points.
