Any one else thing that instead of Space Marine as a game they should have just added a first person mode to the commander of each side in this? Using the Havok engine (think that's what it uses). Yeah it wouldn't have been the most amazing graphics but it would have been fun. Like the 1st Person Mode in the 1998 game Machines. Wish I had an old PC to play that on sooo much.

@ImashimeTheDaemon Simply put, no. Farseers have been practicing their art for... well more than 40,000 years. Farseers had existed even before the fall (Hence why there are Craftworlds. Some Farseers predicted the Eldar were going to screw themselves over). In addition, there are Farseers that are at least 10x older than most Space Marine Librarians, and have been practicing their craft for about half their lifetime.

Also Runes of Warding fucks up all Psykers gameplay wise :P

@gerrit5551 taking out heavy gunners and people in buildings (if you don't want to waste grenades etc) and their skill that shoots long distance (forgot the name) does huge damage to bosses. Level up the energy skill (purple one) so they can use accessories in stealth and level up health so they can res people up they can be a good support unit.

I got Assault for Black Reach while out of town, built it all, played it with my buddy, what gets me is that the turns can be so slow, for example when a full boyz squad charges and you have to consult charts and roll 20-30 dice, while DOW2 is mucheasier. Granted we do not have shop nearby that plays this, and I am in love with the lore, I have read Imperial Guard, Blood Anglels, Ultramarines, Grey Knights, Soul Drinkers, and the Eisenhorn Omnibuses. If you live near Beaufort SC give me holler.

For the time I dont have enough models, I'm going to use special home-made "unit markers". Just tried what tyranid warriors can do... AWESOME!!! (still, Space Marines may beat them).

@typhooni8 depends on your self discipline. ;-) and you don't have to buy everything BNIB. you can find a lot of unneeded models if you ask around, and those will sell on a very low price. maybe you'll have to invest a bit of time in them to make them look cool again, but hey that's part of the hobby.

@Kriegerherz15 you cannot go wrong with either SM or IG. i personally see IG as more expensive, so if you already get some IG go on and expand it to around 1850 pts. you'll certainly need a couple of vendettas and chimeras, and they're not cheap. but IG is one of the most competitive armies if you do it well. while SM really teaches you tactics and makes you better at every aspect of the game. IG is a lot of models, SM is an elite army with less figures on the tabletop. hope i could help! ;-)

Yes, they can fit (in Crusade of Amageddon, Jarold, a Dreadnought character, was inserted via drop pod), though normally 1 drop pod can contain one dreadnought only.

But having 2 different drop pods just because you chose the dreadnought for the stage is just unnecessary in-game.
