  • I drove my RZR through that easly.

  • hey great video. ive never been wheeling but have a jeep almost identical to yours with 32's. same axels and open diffs. how much are you in 4 wheel drive out there? just wondering. hows the trails and stuff. im not looking for damage as the jeeps my dd but i wanna go have some fun. on a college budget i can't break her cause i dont have the money to fix her. keep the vids coming

  • @mrnick2008 We're in 4-wheel most of the time, but there are many places where you don't need it, like the times that you're traveling the main trails to each obstacle or challenge.

Plenty of places to have fun without hurting your daily driver.

My Wrangler is also MY DD and I sometimes drive it there, but most times, I like to trailer it, just in case. Because you never know. That trail you've done several times in the past can bite you when you least expect it. Thanks for the kudos!!

  • Awesome footage...that big Wrangler sounds like a monster !

  • @tonyaltn That one has a 502 (well, now 504) Chevy in it. It IS a monster! Sounds good on video, but sounds awesome live!!

  • thanks for inviting me and the family for labor day weekend and thanks for showing me a damn good time sorry about the roll but hey it was fun we will do it again sometime

  • @junior301979

Look at that roll as a learning experience!! LOL. It was not a problem at all. I'm just really glad we were there to help. No apologies necessary. We had a great time with you there too. We will definitely do it again.

  • nice camera work and editing, driving is good too. Engine can't be stock anymore, is it? 5 stars

  • Not sure which vehicle you mean, but mine is the Army green Jeep Wrangler. It's stock other than an AIRAID FIPK. There is a 502 powered Wrangler that the park uses. (hard not not know which one THAT was! ;-) The blazer isn't stock engined either.

Thanks for the kudos. I'm still working on my video editing skills.

  • I have a coworker with a green 2009 Wrangler. I've been trying to get him to get the decal kit with the star & numbers on the hood like yours. When he saw how good yours looked, he agreed to order the kit! 5 Stars for wheeling with stock diff!

  • That's SWEET! Send me a pic when it's done! I've not seen them on a J/K yet!

As for wheeling with the stock diff, it finally bit me. While on the rocks, I blew out one of the side gears on the front diff.

It now has carrier gears from a J/K's high pinion D-30. They look beefier than the gears I removed, but they fit. In fact, the carrier and gears are the ONLY things that interchange. Everything else (including ring/pinion) is different from one to the other. It was a pain removing them too!

  • Wow, you beat that thing pretty good! lol I was there when you where. I was riding shotgun in the black cj that almost flipped over. I was wondering if you still had the clip of that? If you do, can you email it to me or something?

  • Sure do, but It may be a week or so before I can get it to ya! I'm getting ready to head to Kentucky this week, and my daughter's baby is due soon.

I'll be a busy boy for a while!

The video came out pretty good though.

    Tracy

  • hey i remember that, wasnt it you that i had to open the door for cuz you were on your side and it was kinda heavy?
