Because you uploaded this I knew I needed to own it. I went to itunes store and bought it for $10. Your upload is a great advertisement for Tom. Thank you!
@jensenbell I know, I remember when he first put it up. It was late, and I just started watching it. It was like 5am by the time I finally went to sleep. So I ordered the 4 disc set off ebay soon after. One of the best band documentaries ever. This, RUSH: Beyond the Lighted Stage, and The Wrecking Crew. In no particular order. Though this probably is the topper because it's like 4hrs long and is SO in depth.
@Ladyoftheblacksea83 haha, stevie actually said that if he asked her to, she would have. she even practically begged to join the heartbreakers. in the movie it says that the reason he didn't was because "there are no girls in the heartbreakers" but it's said that the real reason was because she was "y'know.. from.. FLEETWOOD MAC..".
Ok fine, it's your opinion that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are an average band. I have no problem with that at all. You commented on the movie being 4 hours and that he (Tom Petty) could have said all that in 2hrs. Does this mean that you watched and wasted 4 hours of your time watching a movie about a band you could care less about? Or Does this mean that you just assume that it wasn't worth spending 4 hours documenting a movie about this average band? In either case, w
I think its crazy making a documentary that lasts four hours on a very average band. He could have make a one hour doc and said just as much as he did in four hours.
If you're a Tom Petty fan, this is a MUST-BUY! Watching on youtube doesn't compare to watching it on DVD. The documentary is so good, kept me entertained through all 4 hours. It's worth every penny.
Yes, it is an awesome documentary. And, if people would actually rent or buy them instead of uploading them to Youtube, more people might make some more awesome documentaries. Something that they aren't going to be able to do if everyone just rips them off.
thanx man.
