hear the strokes.. and on each stroke put a syllable. like.. "le-sson-twen-ty-five" "le-sson-twen-ty-five" "le-sson-twen-ty-five" "le-sson-twen-ty-five" hope you understand. i have a hard times sometimes speaking in english.
dude... you start out doing a 5 stroke roll of all 16th notes going:
L L R L R, with an accent on the last R.
but then you ended up doing four consistent 8th notes with a diddle on the first note and an accent on the 4th.
what the hell are you doing? you should erase all of these videos and let my friend chase redo them for you cause you know, hes actually a real drummer. and he actually knows more rudiments than what youve posted. come on dude, wheres the charakata??
@TheGabrielaFox because when you say lesson 25 there is the same amount of syllables as there are notes, basically how all rudiments are named by how they sound. Le-sson-twen-ty-five.
the rudiment is done fine but the first two notes is a drag so its lik a four stroke rool only beggining with a drag and the space between notes is longer
I am a total beginner but I thought the first three notes of lesson 25 are double the speed of the last two. In this video they all sound the same speed. Appreciate your comments.
you are a total beginner but seems to know better than this guy.All the notes beeing played are sixteen notes which is incorrect for the rudiment #25.If you go to vic firth educational rudiments you´ll see that you need a drag followed by three sixteen notes with an accent on the last note
nah man. I think these lesson are cool, most people who play drums aren't stupid to my knowledge an so can work out which strokes are left, right or doubled. Imo the videos ARE long enough.
Your vids are all so short. Try making them something around 10 seconds from slowest increasing speed, 10 seconds at fastest, and 10 seconds slowing down to slowest. You'll gain more control at varying tempos and show all your viewers a more in-depth lesson.
it'a a ruff at the beginning of the rudiment, not a simple double stroke! =D

I thought that a drag was supposed to be a quick double note together rather like a flam. that could just be doubles...no?
