  • @finn123sk8 Nothing! you want to do this as the last thing in your workout. If you can hold onto another weight after doing this then you havent done it right. You'll know if you've done you're forearms correctly because you will struggle to even hold onto a glass of water to pick it up to your face!

  • no it is not u see how u life weights is by how much weight u lift per minute...hmm lets say u lift 100lbs curls about 10 times thats about 1000lbs per minute but lets say if u do about 40lbs about 30 reps a minute. thats 1200 lbs per minute. U see lifting weight is not about how much u can life its the intensity of your workout that gives u results

  • @Abby12TS No you are wrong if you would like to get buff and tough quick lift lots and low reps but if you want endurance for hockey or other sports do a decent amount of weight and alot of reps

  • I've wanted to work my forearms with more detail ever since i worked y previous job, but i guess what he says is true. I used to scoop hard serve ice cream at an amusement park and in 3 months of working 6 days a week there, my forearms were 3x the size

  • i have natural calves and prtty big natural forearms but to be honest. there's some guys on my football team that have little chicken legs and for the life of them they can't work em out. i'd imagine it's pretty tough to build up. like u can get them defined and muscular but not very thick. i guess i find that good since im a RB, but.. idk. just work out :D

  • No not actually, i have high metabolism, so i was very skinny i had no mass. All you have to do is keep workin on them. For calves, you have to run or do some kinda running sport, soccer, football, basketball, etc, then your calves will come

  • 4 set 25reps 2,3 times a week. do different forearm exercise on another day.if you do this 4 set and continue with another similar dumbbell twist and dumbbell standing reverse curl you are building same muscle on a day,use some light weight better.

  • yea it works for sure. You should do other forearm exercises in combination with this one to maximize results but like he said.... it takes time so dont expect big forearms in 2 weeks. It takes at least 2 months to see results... probably longer unless you eat a lot of protein.
