Excellent review, I just got a 6x velocity for my olympus 410e, just watched your review to make sure im wearing it right, im planning to use one of the modular sides to hold a compact velborn tripod, i jst hope its sturdy enough

Nice review. I have been looking at the velocity for a while but I don't think the 7X will fit my D-90 with the battery pack attached. It was cool to see the actual size of the 7X though so now I have some idea where to go from here as I will need to buy one online. The park your in looks like somewhere in Phoenix, makes me homesick.

I like tamrac myself but I don't really like the design of the Velocity-bags. So I got myself a Lowepro Flipside 300 instead, I love it... But it's more of a backpack than a slingshot. I have a Tamrac Pro5 which I use as a slingshot bag, very much space inside... Good choise of camera aswell, got a D80 and D700 myself! ;)
