The ironic thing is that many films from the "Hollywood factory" did great last year. Big revenues, so how can they claim a loss equal to the amount of downloads PLUS the loss of goodwill is beyond me.

Haven't they even remotely considered that making films of different categories more popular make more people go to the movies. Even discover new directors, actors and so on.

I truly do believe that the same amount of money is spent on entertainment, just in different ways these days!

I have. I dont know the english word for it, but in Sweden there is a juridical term called "forsettlig", meaning "intended". It means that you can be convicted for presenting the market to a service of which the primary purpose is to break the law. Thats why they now blame their moderators, their users and everyone but themselves for the illegalities commited on TPB. If the admit they knew that the majority of the content was illegal, they'd be on thin ice...

Was I asking you? Well Im going to answer anyway. 1. There's no way to prove that their intention was to break the law. And this video doesn't show it. 2. The only thing they've mentioned about the mods is about the work they're doing (removing faulty torrents for example). 3. The users ARE to blame for the actual crimes and the users KNOW that they're doing illegal things 4. TPBs content (torrents) is not illegal. Just a tool. Knives aren't illegal but they can be used to stab people.
