Rode a similar ride at a fair in the 80's, and it was fairly old then. It's not new. Looks like a re themed version of the following older. oops sorry. It was called the Hurricane.

They may have put a SO CALLED silencer on it, but I was there today, and trust me... it's still pretty damned loud when you get up close and personal. I've always wanted to ride it, but utterly detest such loud noise. Could be just my ears though.

The Downdraft at Knoebels didn't break. It was one somewhere else called the Hurricane I think. And the people were fine, but the ride was decomissioned.

I use to take my son there when he was younger. The best was that it was a clean park and you could walk around barefoot without getting cut up.

@DogLover2113 working on rides at themeparks often is fun. At many places you change ride every 20-30rd minute. So it is variated work too.
