@jaxzf hey this may sound wierd but it not the more money you spend on a r/c boat the more speed it going to put out n the better handling it will have but the matanince is on u cuz it depends on how hard u run it n it depends on if u go easy on it n don't put the throttle up as hard. also it depends on if u r going to ramp it or just use it for some fun time with kids or something like that ok reply to me soon if u have anymore questions i do my best to answer them ok

@jaxzf If you're after something relatively quick that's easy to handle with minimal maintenance go for an RTR brushless Catamaran. Brand choice is up to you, but your best bet is to talk to your local hobby store and see what they have to offer. Just make sure anything they sell you they can back up with parts, cause if it's your first boat you will need them. Nothing personal, just a learning curve we all have to go through, but with good advice and a helpfull hobby store it is a LOT easier.

LOL, The real Miss Budweiser did that back in 1997 at the Columbia Cup in the Tri-Cities, Dave Villwock flipped it pretty good racing against the old Smokin Joe boat. Crazy thing is, I'm from the Tri-Cities, love RC boats and have a girlfriend in New Zealand O.o small world. anyway, badass boat.

electric is always faster than nitro. only advantage bout nitro is all u have to do when the boat runs outta its powersource, u can refill in seconds and use again. but thats only for the impacient people. electric is better

there was no wave, look close at the water line. it caught a gust of wind coming across the pond. just my 02.
