@zdmatson No Doubt switched their sound from the SoCal Ska to a radio friendly SKA when punk/ska was popular and radio friendly. When that punk/ska scene became no longer radio friendly, No Doubt was able to evolve their sound to a purely garbage pop sound that was incredibly radio friendly. The Bosstones stuck to their sound which over time has become increasingly less mainstream. So someone of your age would not have heard Bosstones like somone of my age(23) or even older.
@bigkev625 I was born in 1994 I have fond memories of the ska scene in like 1996/1997 like Reel Big Fish Less Than Jake and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. 1990s were the bets time to be alive
Well, in 1997 they did have the song "Impression that I get" reach #1 on the billboard charts, so they're not really underrated, they had there share of the limelight back in the day.
Better version of Less Than Jake haha

@bigkev625
In my opinion, Bosstones IS ska...
Every one of their songs has its own flavor, as does each album.
Look at the big picture, this is a testament of what ska IS.
Seriously, name me one song from them that is "bad..."

@zdmatson They are easily the most famous ska act of all time with the exception of maybe early No Doubt. You are very wrong sir.
