my dear Grandpa.. Clayton Howard... went to be with the Lord today, 1/27/2011... Grandma passed away about a year ago... he went peacefully and yesterday said he was anxious to see his dear wife again in Heaven...
As a teen, I listened to the DX Partyline every week, twice a week. I remember writing them a letter, and I heard it read on the air...I was so excited! LOL! Ahhhh, the good ol' days!
Shortwave listening was indeed magic in the 70s and early 80s. The thought of listening to news events in real time before all cable news channels was truly an experience. 73 everyone! AI4QT
