Well of course people are still offended by any of those words. Hiding them and outlawing them to me would be a step back. New York (correct me if Im wrong on this) outlawed the word and it was a huge step backwards. For racism to vanish it cant be made illegal, change has to come from within. People have to change for the better and not the law. While it might seem very difficult it is possible. Educating people and encouraging objective thought is the key.
