@46spoony You have to admit he gets the attitude! It's the attitude that younger audiences loved about Sinatra. Like Bono said,'swagger and attitude, he's big on attitude Serious attitude, bad attitude Frank's the Chairman of the bad Rock and Roll plays at being tough but this guy, well, he's the boss The boss of bosses The man
The big bang of pop I'm not gonna mess with him, are you?
I think the best tributes to rock & roll are ones that don't take the music seriously and instead have lots of fun with it. And it doesn't get any funnier or better than this. Piscopo is wonderful and really gets the essence of how Sinatra would have probably done such songs if he had chosen to do so. Sinatra often claimed to hate rock & roll, but so many rockers loved ol' Frankie!
Though the voice doesnt sound anything like him, his mannerisms, attitude, annunciation, and phrasing is spot on.

You usually have to go on a cruise to see entertainment of this quality.
Poor Joe. He obviously loves to perform, but he's just terrible. His impersonations are lousy and he's not much of a singer.

From "Catch A Rising Star's 10 Anniversary" on HBO in the 80's...
For me, this is Joe Piscopo's crowning achievement !
Featuring the Blues Brothers' horn section as well...
Fantastic !

Classic to have Pat Benatar in the audience listening to "Sinatra" doing her song in "his" style. Too funny!
