The bug looks dead thats not good because the plant wont eat it. it will just open in a few hours. Next time pop it into the frezzer until it passes out but not long enough to kill it. then when its passed out feed it to fly trap. It will wake up and think what the hell? OH NOOOOOO :-) I do it all the time with spiders and crickets
