After 9/11 and the death of 3,000 Americans, the Conservative Republicans APPROVED the WAR WITH IRAQ.
But they OPPOSE a PUBLIC HEALTH CARE ... knowing that 18,000 AMERICANS die each each due to a lack of Health Coverage !! ...
18,000 DEAD AMERICANS represent ... six (6) 9/11 ... each and EVERY YEAR !!

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN---PRIVATE & PUBLIC---HEALTH CARE:
PRIVATE:
Places the INSURANCE COMPANY between YOU & YOUR DOCTOR.
The Insurance Company DECIDES which treatment they'll authorize & pay for, or what claim they'll deny & cancel the policy.
PUBLIC:
Your DOCTOR is the one WHO DECIDES which treatment YOU require.
NO profit involved.
NO more red tape.
NO begging with Insurance Co. for approval.
NO Insurance CEO's HUGE SALARIES & BONUSES filling their greedy pockets.

do you realize the waiting lists that other countries with public health care have?
have you heard of the people from canada coming here to get health care that they need right away but are put on ridiculously long wait lists for?
do you realize the added expense to everyone?
our current system isn't perfect but it is a capitalistic society. that's the way it goes, you have money, you can afford things that people without money can't.
