  • No words for you!

  • 26 people have no taste!

  • Nouvelle Vague did a great job with this cover, don't care what anyone says about Bossa Nova being "easy listening bullshit". Music is supposed to make you feel good, no one else should make you feel bad for liking it.

  • I have some words! I remember getting acquinted with Tuxedomoon in Spain when I was sixteen. Two Belgians introduced me to this band and I received a tape of the album Desire. I knew I heard someting special but I didn't like it. I tried it several times, lay it aside and then after two years the moment came that it touched me. And blimey, this feeling has never changed. I wish I was as good with words and music as they were...

  • experimental post-punk ! =D

  • one of my favorite bands from the 80's. Remember seeing them at Mudd Club on White str. NYC back then !!!

  • 2:11 - 2:24

    he is rofl

  • This weekend I got a surprise when I heard a cover of this song in a little bar in a Portuguese island in the middle of the Atlantic (Azores). Incredible how music crosses all the frontiers.

  • Great! Experimental Electronics from the 70's.

  • Didn't like it.. Sorry

  • What all the drama for?

  • Suddenly i started crying again....But there's no Tears for the creatures of the night i guess....Love it!!! Christopher Amsterdam Holland...Thanx JuliMathers!!! HUG

  • i love what nouvelle vague did with this song (:

  • @theK0OKS

Great song!! Nouvelle Vague version is horrible.

  • @dancing0being I agree (Y)

  • Thank God! At least 329.634 more people like this song! Allways thought it was forgotten...

  • i hate what people r capable of doing and becoming, they deserve the rot they get

  • Ew. Bad in every way. o_o

  • @2bladegrass

Mate, you liked a DANYKA 5th class disco pop smurfy song. How did you come here at Tuxedomoon? You are from a different planet.

I guess DANYKA doesn't pretend. She says straight "i want your money, come to me and give me all of".

  • @dancing0being lol, you got me. I like music of every different genre, and if for my I own reasons (I know her and am trying to help her out by liking her song) I decide to like something, it doesn't take away from the fact that this song is pretentious bullshit.

  • やっぱり。。。

Tears for the creature of the night...

  • I always cry when I hear this song. :(

  • @MoRbIdIcA666 WTF crying with that nick??? :)))

  • @nikolicaue My nickname has nothing to do with my emotions... :)

  • @papalaozi εκπληκτικο..

  • muy buen tema.............

Pasara a la historia como un temazo

  • haha...a typewriter.

  • I just dont know what "underground-band" could mean here. Their records were in every single record store in the world.

I loved it - but in analyzing it, it was totally comercialaized underground-sound,

    wasn´t it?

  • Great band totally ruined by heroin.

  • @bigbadchang that's true and very sad. I find this song very moving

  • This is really good but I heard martin's version first and prefer his. Love the lyrics to this, could sing it all day long

  • i like this even better than the cover that Martin L. Gore did on the 'counterfeit' Ep. i just discovered this band btw..so don't judge me harshly for my ignorance, please.

  • Blagodariyu

  • Bellissimo pezzo.

  • nouvelle vague do a cover of this and I think I might prefer it....hard one that...

  • @ozzyinny Same Here, this is a bit depressing for my taste :S

  • The end is missing!

  • the lyrics are so very human, and therefore everyone can feel the lyrics deep inside

  • 14 people missed the like button

  • i felt in love

  • Spasibo!

  • Grazie!

  • go to ewaleona to listen another version.

  • Das waren noch Zeiten.... schön!

  • love those '80's clips. all the same! haha love it.

  • tuxedomoon rules the world of avantgarde...saw them twice here in germany...in the early 80s....and I still love them songs

  • very cool! :)

  • nie potrafię opisać słowami

  • Saying so much, in doing so little.

  • Jeden z najlepszych utworów z moich młodych lat. Dawno go nie słyszałem. Super

  • Fantastic ! Any covers can be better than this one !

  • wath I don´t understand is how do you like this version, is really boooring, but not, Sorry I understand, its just that I´ve seen how some of you criticiez the other versions, and I think that Nouvelle Vague has done an excellent work with this cover, it is really beatiful.

  • @refam22 no offense, but imho it's because you have an attention span of 3 seconds :P seriously, though that's minimalism, in a sense - less is more, (and more control) sometimes. would you say that johnny cash's locomotive rythm was boring?

  • JUST LOVE IT!!!!

  • This was around summer 1985 as I remember it.

  • je les ai vus sur scene en 1982 ............... irréversible ............ c'est sans doutes ma chanson préférée de tous les temps ....

  • it is perfect

  • One of the best HEARTbreaking songs. Listen to Coils "Tainted Love"!!!!! too.

  • super letra super wordsss.....for u

  • This is the best version ever ... the covers are just easy listening shit ...perhaps they should be called "Tuxedomoon 4dummies"...

  • @Bats667 yes this is the best, cheers

  • good lord...thank god Martin (Gore) covered this! the lyrics are beautiful, so props to Tuxedomoon for that...but the vocal delivery borders on William Hung

  • Give him the words pleaseee!

  • I saw these guys countless times in SF "back in the day", ha ha. Tres cool.

  • Exactly what I had thought!

  • adio mozak..

  • perfect song !!

  • I must admit i got to know this song listening to nouvelle vague. that is a beautifuls ong but this i has beauty in its own right, its darker and its simplicity is brilliant.

  • If you like the song check out Martin Gores version.

(He is the guy from Depeche Mode) I like them all.

  • when I listen to this song I travel to another dimension...I'm in love with it....

  • cool to see russian tuxedomoon funs!

  • such a good song

although i prefer the nouvelle vague cover

  • STEPHEN!!???!

  • Encontrándome con joyas como esta nunca perderé la capacidad de asombrarme...

  • One of their best songs!

i get duck's skin every time i hear it.

Used to have the vinil record but no more.

  • Great song; but tuxedomoon seriously didn't take advantage of the AWESOME lyrics they wrote.

  • what do you mean?

  • Nouvelle Vague really made this song their own imo. I agree the lyrics are amazing but the vocals dont quite emote that

  • love them....pure new wave post punk....

    :D:D

  • Finally I find the original, only knew Martin Gore's version before. Must say the Martin makes full use of the potential in this song...

  • In a manner of speaking

    Semantics won't do

In this life that we live we only make do

And the way that we feel

    Might have to be sacrified

P.s Do it,you know the way.Just like the song.

  • I agree.......The Best!!!!

  • Whoa, this is real hardcore for the 80's.. great. Nice to hear too the difference in the Chorus melody between this and Nouvelle Vague's version.

  • Is the singer Winston Tong?

  • esta cortado!!!!

    its cuted!!!

    sug

  • Arrgh! NO! The end it cut off! I hate truncated music videos.

  • Great song. Depeche Mode's Martin Gore paid homage to the original by covering it on his first 'Counterfeit' ep.

  • Also Nouvelle Vague did a cover version.

  • And it's great!!!

  • Super!!!

  • suprised that the new wave crowd never got into the Ralph Records stuff

  • Psychotic rock at best.

  • admirable

  • yes great song

  • great song, great Tuxedomoon!

  • in a manner of speaking
