Look at 0:07-0:08.

The pitch played (in concert pitch) was a D (an E for the trumpet), but the kid had all valves down. A low E should be played with 1st and 2nd valve down, not all three.

you cant play a trumpet the way that kid was playin. his fingers were over the valves so he wouldnt have been able to blow and make a nice sound and hit all the right notes the way hes playin...or his dad anyways.. kid needs some lessons quick if thats the best he can play
