Actually I've yet to see an accurate description of scat singing in any of these comments. Scat singing is where the vocalist uses their voice in place of an instrument. nothing more, nothing less

Having learned some japanese, (unless I'm poorly mistaken), I think she's actually singing in japanese...

@K0R34NG05U haha i know some as well and she does sing some verses in japanese, and some in gibberish.. for example, everything up to 0:40 is gibberish, and starting there she sings in japanese :)

@kmyres14 Its called Scat singing, where you make sounds that is bascially giberish, but to associate with the music. A good example of scat singing was in disney's jungle book, when Baloo and the King of monkeys (voiced by Louis Prima), many jazz musicians do it

I really really would like to know what you would consider this type of music. I love this song and I want to listen to music that sounds similar to this, I want to say it sounds very Jazzy but I am a music Idiot and I don't want to embarrass myself.
