The only thing wrong with this comic is that the math doesn't add up. He would've been either 1 or 2 years old in 1938 and in his teens during the 1950's yet in the comics he was clearly in at least his 20's in the 1950's.

Red Son is my favorite Superman Elseworld.

Superman : Speeding Bullets was good too, but the ending was out of character.

Another good Superman Elseworld was Superman : Last Son of Earth.

Uh, CaptainChaos, what is there to hate about Superman? He's honestly one of the most compassionate, human comic characters ever. He teaches lessons of personal responsibility, kindness, and countless other things better than other characters ever could. People complain about Supes being overpowered, but he really is a paragon of moral integrity, and a fabulous character.

Mark Millar is the ultimate writer of ideas. WarHeroes, 1985, KickAss, CivilWar, RedSon. I dont think everything he writes is amazing, but in every book the concept is absolutely incredible. He also induces alot of politics in his books which is good because it keeps his books intellegent. He told one interviewer when discussing this book that he had a 7 hour superman trilogy plan laid out! I think he ment in the Superman: Red Son continuity but it is not clear in the interview. Let him doit DC!

Yes that is another good example. The list is pretty big and I am sure there will be alot more from him. My favourite is the Wolverine book 'Enemy of the State.' He is also doing another Wolverine story called 'Old Man Logan' which looks even better.
