  • you had a couple more left ...

  • he coulda done a few more reps but still good. no hands or rediculous screaming definitley impressive.

  • that is such a badass gym

  • Good job bro!

  • Good Job, awesome form!!!

No slaming, touching your chest and no hands.

    Stay Strong

    Skrip

  • Good job! I just posted a video doing 32 plates (1,440 lbs plus sled). Keep up the great work.

  • I like that the first related video on the side bar is "Ronnie Coleman - 2300 lbs Leg Press... "

  • Awesome. I'm maxing out at exactly the same, six reps with eleven plates per side. You looked like you could have knocked out a couple more.

  • more than 1000 pounds

  • daamaaam over 1000 pounds crazy...im trying to work my way up im 16 and i do 600 pounds about 5 times is tht good or bad?

  • Lol the pl8 fell off at the end!

  • Everyone talks tough on youtube videos but in real life your just a pencil neck who couldn't pick up 5 lbs.

  • impressive

  • goddamnit bro, r u like trying not to get strong, get the fuck off the leg press, put a bar on you back squat down until ur ass touches ur ankles and stand up now do that as many times as u can until u puke the do 5 more, leg press is for bitches

  • pretty sure he does some squats. besides the dudes legs are fuckin huge obviously somethng he is doong is working. your just one of these idiots who stares at the squats rack blindly talking all hardcore about it and what not, not realizing how harsh it is on your body (not in a good way) you can get big legs without squats believe it or not and save yourself the surgeries later on in life. besides i think legpress works my quads and hams a hell of a lot better then squats. their butt builders

  • thats ur problem right there, u think because it is making ur muscles bigger is is making you stronger, squats make u so much stronger than leg press, because it works almost every muscle in ur body, machines like leg press isolate muscles not giving u a full workout, do squats if u wanna get stronger, do leg press is u wanna stand on stage in a speedo covered in paint, now while u do ur curls and check out ur biceps, ima go deadlift 2 and a half times my bodyweight cuz i have a pair

  • who said he was going for strength? do you fucking train with him?

  • if hes not training for strength and he's training to be a bodybuilder hes a bitch, bodybuilders are faggots they look like they're in good shape but they're no and why r u trying to defend him r u his bitch or something hahah ur a bitch's bitch

  • who said hes a bodybuilder or a powerlifter? hes just a guy who loves to lift weights and keep himself in shape. if that makes him a faggot and a pussy then so be it. btw bodybuilders are in extremely good shape, most of the contest is based on conditioning. they do not train for strength like a powerlifter, but that makes them a faggot? i know of many BB's who are just as strong as any powerlifter.

  • they are not in good shape, they arent even close to being fit, all they do is leg press, leg curls, leg extensions, bicep curls and tricep extensions, if this guy wants to be in shape he should do crossfit

  • you obviously dont know much. many bodybuilders swear by squats and deadlifts. study your facts kid your arguing something you know nothing about.

  • im not saying that there arent body builders who are strong, but all of the coaches and expert tell u to do bull shit exercises like this, plus there is no bodybuilder in the world, who is fit, look up crossfit its the hardest and most effective workout program you'll find, it is a combination of running, powerlifting, olympic lifting, plyometrics, BW exercises, gymnastics and conditioning/endurance training

  • i didnt even bother reading your post cause i know it will be dumb. i have a better chance at beating a door knob in an internet argument then you, your retarded.

  • lol @ crossfit.

  • just shut up man...

  • ive done 791 lbs

  • that plate falling at the end made it worth watching the video. what will you if there is no more room for more plates?

  • also, a year ago or so i filmed myself lifting weights and as i watched i thought man i'm not going down far enough on my squats and my dips, i can't have that. so i lowered my weights and now i use a fuller range of motion and good form. i am now increasing the weight while trying to maintain good form and a greater range of motion. good luck in your traning!

  • i'm not sure how much i can do but, moving alot of weight for a few inches is not as productive for size and strength as using as much weight as you can in a fuller range of motion and good form. do you squat? just trying to help.

  • a weight fell off

  • I use this machine in the gym, i was told it works the gluets better than the squat machine, is this true?

  • imagine his feet slipped

  • good 1000 lbs there... very nice..

nice gym aswell where is this?

  • It's Gold's gym in Lee's Summit MO.

  • im 14 and do 900. yes i got a vid. but today i did 1000. ill make a vid of it next week.

  • dont be so proud kid legpress are easy to get lots of weight, post a good squat video instead.

  • hahahaha true that but they get you just as sore

  • ya i think legpress isolate my quads and hams better then squats, but i prefer squats for overall strength and mass

  • Great form dude!

  • least your doing the proper technique dude :D

i was scared before watching this, that you would be some show off loser who brings it down to there chest, makes loud grunts and generally pisses people off.

ima try get a vid soon,

17 years old and i leg press 360kg. no bull shit, i will try get the vid uploaded a.s.a.p mate :)

  • y r u looking to the side.. to make sure some girl is looking lol

by the wway thats a little over 1000 lbs

  • hes probly looking in the mirror for form or something

  • or it could be a girl

  • It's to ensure proper form is used so he doesn't destroy his lower back and paralyze himself.

  • i can do 400 but im only 15 years old

  • I can do 650, and I'm only 13, pussy.

  • I did 790. I'm 15. I squat 355.

  • wow thats amazing!!!

i would thrown an xtra 5 on each side just to make it a round thousand tho :P lol

  • Awesome!

  • Why do they always play the worst music in the gym?

  • Pfft! I can do 10 lbs! beat that!

  • I can do it!

Jk, Your really really good, Hou many ibs is there?

  • great form! awesome control! 5 stars bro.. I worked for a year to beat coleman with 2,500 lbs. for 12 reps. nice work guy!!!

  • Props from me dude, dont take all these criticisms about "fake" and "squats>legpress" sure squats are much better than legpress, but what everyone is missing is how hard it is to move 990 lbs of weight with your legs, i can only do like 540 on legpress :(

  • I hate leg press its too easy compared to the squat.

  • easier to get plates but still challenging for a good workout if you really push yourself... i use both

  • Squats and its variations are the most important exercise and the second most important is leg press.

  • What manufacturer makes this machine?

  • thats crazy how many kgs there?

  • That's a great lift and not fake at all. He's a big guy and I'm not surprised he can lift all that weight. I can do about 2/3 that much but I don't come down quite as far when I am lifting heavy because I am afraid of hurting myself. Nice video

  • fake

  • The leg press(like most leg exercises) is more effective with higher reps 12-15.The legs always respond much better to higher reps. Also better to do leg extensions before leg press so the legs feel it more.He needs to put his head back too as he's closing off the airway to his diaphram when he puts his head forward.

  • squating is so much better and harder because its all about control and using the joints

  • no shit

  • leg press is an ego booster. My friend who is 17 can do 20 plates....Im not very impressed.

  • Lot better when done to the full range!

Leg press is good because you use it to work concentric eccentric and midpoint static tension.

With squats and lunges 1st for balance and hip and glute work.

  • i like leg press so much better than squating

  • watch mine /watch?v=2NxrQd37_Pc :)

  • Im 14 and weigh 195 and i can do about 850 6 times and I just was wondering is that good or average i max at about 1100

  • your not doing as much weight as you think you are because you would have the world record for your age

  • i am doing as much weight as i think i am. 6 100 pound plates 8 50 pouns and like 2 45's and a 10

  • hey man could u put up a vid of it?

  • yeah sure but im not going to do the max if thats ok. I got football starting monday, i dont want to hurt anything. My coaches are telling me there are going to be many scouts at our games for me to long snap and play nose guard but i will put the vid up.

  • wow thats more than what this dude is doing. thats is a world record. hahahha

  • im a beef cake

  • how much weight is this?

  • 990 lbs

  • Nicely done, now it's time to step it up to Ronnie Coleman status.

  • lol the plate falls at the end lol ronnie colman is better jkjkjk good job

  • I can do 10 plates on each side "4 of which are 100lbs plates" x10

IM 18 and ive got a video on my profile

  • Comment by jamesgn20.

    I SMELL BULL SH!tttttttttt.

Another youtube lie that no one can prove you wrong on.

  • I can leg press over nine thousand lbs, my friend Raditz has a video of it on his youtube account that Vegeta recorded with the video feed on his scouter. The video is like this:

Ratitz asks Vegeta "What does the scouter say about his leg press?"

Vegeta checks and yells back "It's OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND!"

While this happens I am pressing the weight, but then I start laughing and it slides down and crushes me, I was in the hospital for a whole week and then doing physio for a year.

    Careful guys!

  • good push. i thought this was going to be a quarter inch leg press

  • Awesome!

  • Y E L L O W

  • yeah scratch that last comment i cant do that many reps

  • im 17 years old and can do that much...ill put a vid on my profile if you give me like 1 week...and i'm fat lol

  • thats alot 1 day il do that much, i did 320 kg 2day which is 704 pounds or 50 stone 4 pounds. i did 10 reps but only 9 are shown on the video on my profile

  • lol, that plate at the end falls off

  • dude.. concentrate on your lift and not the mirror - look straight ahead.. you could throw your back out of alignment with that much weight and twisting our head like that

  • That was insane leg pressing.

  • the yellow machines bother me. i would never be able to concentrate

  • j/k, that was pretty good. I'm glad you know how to do it right. Most guys go half that distance on the way down/up. My best was 650 lbs 7 times. That was pre-ruined patellar tendon :)

  • You could've done more if you spent less time looking pretty for the camera

  • Well just because of how many bad leg press videos I've seen today, I'll give this one a 4.5/5. Everything was good except I would've gotten just a little more depth. Aside from that, you did excellently. Your depth was even pretty damn good. I was watching this one guy leg press 780 KG for 7 reps and his depth sucked ass!

  • I agree - good depth. He could probably do more... didn't seem to take a lot out of him.

  • nice

  • LOL there's so many weights on there one of them fell off at the end. :)

  • best ive ever got was 495 22 times

  • show it then

  • this guys a beast!!

    the farthest i ever tried

    was 390 times 20

  • hahaha. nice bro.

but i'd recommend you eat your knees on the negative portion man. it hits the legs better

  • u shouldn't extend your legs to the fullest cause all the weight will shortly rest on your knees and since youre obviously doing high weights i would recommend u not to extend em fully

  • That's not a full leg press...May you shut try it sometime...Let it go all the way down in till you hear the metal hitting the bottom part. De otras formas no me sorprendes...I can full press 18 plates 8 times

  • Stupid comment, just because you dont hear the metal hit the bottom doesnt mean it wasnt a good press. Quit hating

  • Wheres the video?

  • There is a such thing as going to far. My guess is that your going to have some major knee problems if thats your form on leg press.

  • yeah the guy isnt supposed to fully extend his knees like that not good for them at all.

  • thats 440kg yer?

    i only got 320 :(

  • im 16 and been working out for around 2 months now, I did 350 last week....mind you I can only press 30 kg dumbbells on flat bench so my legs are my strongest body part.

  • lastima q sean de arena

  • but you dont spend hours in the gym...gotta love the haters...they just sit at home on the couch and criticize

  • Hey man very well done i just posted a 1000 pound leg press video, check it out, I just want you to judge if my depth was low enough.

  • Not bad at all. I know lifting that much took some work...

  • damn thats beast mode right there. good lift

  • looks clean good job

  • show some respect thats damn impressive.. i would really love to see the video of people saying they can do 1000 pounds

  • kitlers a fucking genius.. thats actually really accurate... my max is 900 on the leg press... and the max i can do on the squat it usually around... 500-550. pretty good.

  • at the end i think the plate hitted someones head!! lol

  • oh yeah well i can do half that, lol.but i also put my knees to my chest tho.still i give you props even tho you werent doing a full rep.i dont think id have enough balls to do a full rep with that weight.

  • but with all these videos they are not doing shit with a full range of motion they could do half the weight they are doing if done properly

  • coleman can do 25 plates on each side

  • i can leg press 1305 but thts bc my leg press is at a 30 degree angle, meaning it is actually only half of tht 30*sin=.5 1305*.5=653. tht is compared to his 703 tht is why finding the risistance is important bc they dont all have the same angle tht again is without the sled figured in

  • to figure out how much your doing in ratio to a actual squat, you multiply the angle by sin * amount of weight on sled - body weight, and tht should equal up to the same amount as a squat. like this guy the press is at a 45 degree angle with 990Ibs and guessing he wieghs 200. (45*sin=.71) (990*.71=703) so his legs in reality are pushing up 703Ibs so if it was a squat (703-200(guesed body weight)=503) tht means he can squat 503. well tht is without the sled figured in so a lil off

  • Hey man good post.

  • kitler07 said: multiply the angle by sin * amount of weight on sled subtract body weight (to find squat weight).

Interesting - wat angle would ur legs be at for the squat say if it was a 45 degrees angle for the leg press?

  • coleman is best

  • you'll see alot of guys with the back rest all the way up, shortening the distance of the rep.

  • finally, someone with form and weight

  • dude your a fucking beast.

  • lol even though its impress how much weight he is pushing does he realise hes locking his knees out?

  • your a tank man, keep up the work.

  • This is pretty good. I'm just starting to get up in this range myself. I'm hoping to have a vid up by next week of me breaking 1000. Keep up the good work :)

  • yeah he did go all the way down stupid your knees are supposed to go to your chest and his did

  • That is one yellow gym! make your fucking eyes bleed . ps freeweight squats are king

  • Hes doing it the easiest way possible with his feet wide and high up on the platform

  • nothing wrong with that, more then anything he doesn't go all the way down but w/e this is not a strength machine if you want to be impressive use the squat for judge of leg strength.

  • Its harder with your feet lower. The squat is a better test of real strength

  • yes, but would you use a machine like this (for squats), a smith machine, or free weight?

I don't want to hurt my back anymore than it already is

  • I only ever hurt my back once working out and oddly enough it was on leg press.I let the weight down too far too fast.I never hurt my back ever on squats.I had surgery done in the end so I can do leg presses again.I always find I get best results starting with extensions, then leg press and finish with squats. You won't be able to go as heavy on the squats but your legs feel it more instead of your back like when you do them first..your legs grow quicker this way too as there doing all the work

  • true, i did 1000 today on leg press, and 1030 (800 plus my weight) on squat, but that machine (and the ones i did) are on a sled, so a lot of the weight goes to the machine. and the squat was definitely a lot harder than the leg press. I'm going to start over at 200-400 next week and go all the way down on a machine that brings more weight to you

  • don't get too reliant on the machines. If your going to do squats I would do them on the free weight and do them last so you feel only your legs working. The trouble with leg press is every machine feels a little different plus there are other fctors involved too when people talk about the weight they can lift...where are their feet positioned, are they going all the way down, are they using wraps, are they pushing on their knees, how far is the seat up etc...

  • who cares about some ronnie dude, this isn't his video, he probably has a small phallus anyways, i don't know much about weights, looked impressive to me though, i can do 10x1 oh yea, how bout that

  • This is most probably a stupid question, but what is the difference between doing Squats, deadlifts and Leg Press?

As far as I understand you use the same main muscles in each. Of course squats require balance and technique, Leg Press is simply about power. I guess what I'm asking is which of these 3 exercises is the best???

    Ps: I squat 160kg (10x4) and Leg press 310kg (10x4)

    Cheers

  • well im no expert but in my experience there is no "best" you really need to work all three to get a decent workout

  • Impressive but your gym music makes you look like a pansiy D:

  • kg's or pounds?

  • check out the weight plate almost fall off at the end :P

  • no it does fall off lol

  • haha it does too !

  • hes got some balls not usin somethin to brace his knees wow

  • stary jestes leszczem!!

  • he's not locking out metrodave, he is doing them slow, clean and crisp. I could never get 6 of those doing them that slow and bringing the weight that low. Nice job bskola, how much do you weigh?

  • the sound and picture dont sink well at all

  • that looks like a nice gym...

  • see the weights fall off at the end lol. btw theres a vid of ronnie coleman shifting 2300lbs!

  • i have that video

come and look at my videos i have 3 coleman videos

  • are you taking the piss, cause you sound like you are. Ronnie Coleman has shredded legs, his legs are arguably the best in the world. as for the last part, lmao, n00b alert ;)

  • Comment removed

  • your clearly a fool. which NFL player is in anyway the same size and weight as ronnie? hes an absolute tank and was the WORLDS best bodybuilder for 8 Mr Olympias. hes is top dog of all the dogs. you dont konw anything about him so stop commenting about him. and hes not a weight or power lifter, he lifts for hypertrophy. and he lifts much more than this guy,

  • Comment removed

  • maybe because these people you know, are not famous world beaters. its not suspicious at all, they take hormone enhancers yes. but they have to, otherwise they wouldnt win. if you dont like it then just watch the naturals compete. this guy in the vid is in a league so lower than Ronnie that its not even funny.

  • Comment removed

  • suspicious about what?? ronnie takes steroids and has gifted genetics, i dont see any suspicion there is to be.

  • omfg

    monster lol

  • good job bro...thts a lot of weight haha

  • Are you pushing that weight up, or are you pushing the world down...hmm questions.

  • i am 16 and weight 115. last time i did leg press was the day after i had squats for football and i did 585 twice. i havent tried to max out yet. im just waiting for a day that i dnt have to do squats to do it. but that was nice.

  • not very impressed, range of movement too short.
