    Heu... Kevin, votre composition me semble taciturne, plus qu'à l'habitude. Vous semblez distant de ce qui se passe autour. Cela n'enlève rien à la beauté, ça la rend étrange. Merci pour ce bon moment. Mico

  • Hi, this is actually not a trumpet, it's a cornet. The instrument was made in 1940, and is a fairly common model (Conn 80A), but is in their highest grade finish, the Artist Special.

    Cornet was recorded with a restored RCA 77D ribbon microphone, sax with a vintage AKG C 414 EB, and guitar with a Panasonic Ramsa, and Coles ribbon. There was also a pair of room mics.
