This is great version.

I remember the first time I played it, I was with a friend (his SNES) and we were to going to 'take turns'. I finished the game on my first life while he sat and waited... He was not impressed

By far the Amiga version of Bionic action is better, it goes much deeper there !

This one is pretty fun to play. More action and less exploring than the amiga. The voices are great. Not a fan of the freeze ray though.

@ShiryuGL I don't see the big deal, there is a charm to all 3 iterations of the music that I have heard (Amiga, SNES & Megadrive) What it really boils down to is what you played back in the day. I played the Amiga version so that is my favourite. Don't see why people get so competitive about it all.

Super Turrican is IMO the only worthy "sequel" to the Turrican saga. I concider Turrican 1&2 on Amiga/C64 to be "the originals". Great graphics, super music, fun and innovative gameplay and above all, honors its past.

At the beginning there is a 1up hidden in that column. This game is awesome, the music alone is worth the price of the game alone. This kills Mega Turrican for Genesis, which is actually a version of Turrican 3 for Amiga.

No it doesn't kill it. It's the other way around. And its actually Turrican 3 for the Amiga the one that is a version of Mega Turrican for the Mega Drive, not the contrary. Factor 5 itself states that in their website.

I always thought of the Super Turrican games as 2D Unreal Tournament games.I mean,come on,that spread gun would be a Flak Cannon,the green lightning gun would be the Link Gun,etc.But still,this is an A-W-E-S-E-O-M-E game!

If with the "Amiga edition" you mean Turrican 3, know then than it's just a worse-looking port (although better sounding) of Mega Turrican.

Mega Turrican is a thousand miles better than its counterpart Super Turrican, no doubt of it. The bad part of the matter is that the Mega Drive never goit a counterpart to Super Turrican 2, though.

The problem is that Super Turrican only uses 4 MBit, while Mega Turrican has 8 MBit. Still, I think Super Turrican has the best Soundtrack.
