I'm just curious, how can he gain personal glory as a captain and not be good? ^^ Glory comes from doing great things. Forsberg has indeed made me proud to be Swedish many times, I do live in his hometown of Övik. But it seams that his constant injuries finally ended his career, Sundin is stronger and more reliable. U can't deny his leaderskills either, thou he lead SWE to the Olympic Gold.

Wow, when Sundin retires there's going to be a lot of sad leaf fans. That includes me for sure. He is a wonderful leader and a teriffic person in the community. You can not ever take what he did for this team and hockey lightly, ever. A wonderful person and a fantastic hockey player. I can only hope that the maple leaf orginization finally retires a number because 13 has been more then worthy of this honour.
