Hey thanks for this video! One question about the coded titles of the songs. When I carried them over to itunes, 90% had their original titles restored, about a 200 songs still remained with the coded titles. Should I try doing the transfer again, could it have just been a little glitch when transferring, I transferred all 1600 songs in one shot, was that too much to do in one shot which caused some songs to still have coded titles?

@irahg12 i had that problem too but then i didnt click cancel when my itunes asked to erase and sync or transfer purchases or anything, and i just left it. then the little icon thing stayed there. that might help.

@FarCryCloud I think it only works with ipod nanos. Not with ipod touches or iphones because when i plug in those it won't come up, but if i plug in my ipod nano it appears on my desktop.

i found that already just by messing up, but i tried to put music Into my ipod with random 4 to 6 letter names, like in the other music folders, but i couldn't, it cus the music on the ipod have preset codes wich answers to a command i dont know how to do that shit but i dont know how else i can get music into my ipod without erasing any of mine...

what i do is i get the songs on itunes without sync my ipod and i select the music files and drag them to the ipod icon on itunes then i wait a bit till all the songs are in i click eject ipod

Thanks little bro! I was able to get all my songs off my ipod and onto my new mac. I erased and synced and now everything looks great. My downside is I don't have my song counts, favorites or playlists, but that being said, it was my bad for not backing my shit up in the first place. Happy to have my music back under control.
