Because the school uses the British Curriculum. Also since students in this school come from many different countries the logical choice is to teach in 1 language, English (which they must know well since many plan to go to college in an English speaking country). On the other hand, the less fortunate kids in Vietnam want to learn English so they can get a better job.

English is their 2nd language but they must speak 100% English at school.
