Hey, that lick on the A string is different from what you're doing.

It should go like so-

0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0, 4, 0, 0, 5, 0, 6, 0, 7 --> Chorus.

The "0"s signify an open strum, and any "0" after a number (which is what fret you should be pushing down) is a pull-off, hope this helps!

Oh, and I also noticed, at 4:01, that isn't right at all. It should be 3, 2, 3, 4 (on the E string), and then an A chord. If you don't get that bit before the "A" chord, that section loses its groove.

reason im asking is because i just recently got myself an American standard tele

and i use a xotic bb preamp as a gain pedal and it just sounds too bright i know its suppose to be brighter than y strat but for me its just too bright idk

and i almost feel bad lowering down the tone knob just to get more of the mids

hopefully you cant either post a video or reply to my comment for some tips on this
